Foresters Financial Partners
1st Annual Jamboree
A Resounding Success!
“It’s all about you! Taking your practice from success to significance.” One hundred and sixty producers from across the country gathered at Bally’s Las Vegas to spend time working on their business, meeting with 22 partner companies and networking among their peers. Ed Ledford, Vice President of Business Development kicked off the meeting and set the tone for an energizing program that focused on the strategies and skills needed to grow your business, achieve your goals and realize your dreams.
Keynote presentations were made by noted industry speakers and authors Edwin Morrow, CEO of the IARFC and Norm Trainor, CEO of the Coventry Group and coach to many of the industry’s top producers. Their focus on strategic positioning of your practice in today’s marketplace and identifying the tools, skills and infrastructure needed to leverage your business assets received high marks from attendees.
Rod McGarry, Coach and Advisor Guide did a superb job as Master of Ceremonies facilitating interaction among attendees and hosting two producer panels that tapped into the successful strategies being used by top producers.
Producers chose from a menu of 10 workshops developed around cutting edge estate planning, retirement and middle market sales strategies. “The difficult part was having to choose which of the 10 workshops to attend in the time allotted”, said Perry J., St. Louis, Mo. “The workshops were powerful as most were presented by producers who were successfully selling the concept in conjunction with the company providing the product solution and a technical expert.” Charles D., Boise, ID.
An opening night party as well as receptions in the exhibit hall and a special recognition dinner hosted by the Foresters gave all attendees ample time to meet with company representatives, renew old friendships and meet new associates.
Jim Hall, CEO of the Children’s Miracle Network spoke about the rewards of giving back in your community. The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are major benefactors of the philanthropic work done by Foresters, the producers in attendance and their clients.
Larry Noyes, VP Foresters, observed in his remarks that, “you judge the companies to do business with by the type of people they help and what they do for them.” Foresters unique proposition of supporting local children’s charities and providing complimentary benefits to members and their families stands alone as a resource for the independent producers in the United States market.
Ira Gottshall, CEO of Foresters Financial Partners summed up the program best as he described the energy generated by the 160 producers in attendance for two and a half days never slowed down. “We could not be more proud of the field associates that have chosen to partner with FFP to grow their business. The confidence they place in us to deliver the tools necessary to meet the needs of their clients is flattering. We have a dedicated staff committed to delivering the industry’s best value proposition to the independent producer.”
